I first saw KeySmart on Instagram and I was immediately intrigued by the compactness.  Buffed edges, precision cut and laser etched, I was impressed with the aesthetic quality of the materials. Check out the video below to see how its made in Chicago IL.  I prefer a low profile for all my gear solutions. In my opinion, KeySmart is just that.

I normally don’t carry a lot of keys with me so I decided a USB & Key would be the setup for me. I didn’t purchase the KeySmart USB Flash Drive but I was elated to see they were offered on their website. 16GB Flash Drive for $13.98?  Not bad at all in my book.  CLICK HERE  I already had a promotional BUICK USB Flash Drive that fit well with the setup that I had envisioned.

Gauging the thickness inbetween the 2 panels. I needed an upclose picture to see how many spacers I was going to need.

KeySmart’s Assembly & FAQ page is straight forward and allows for quick reference before you embark on your setup. Not knowing how many keys I’ll initially setup I received the 2-10 Key Kit that includes extra washers, extended studs. The standard setup allows 2-4 keys. It didn’t take too long to gauge the the washer thickness needed for my combination. I used a flat head screwdriver to assemble but you can also use a penny just as easily. If I’m in my office or away from my workbench, I can see how handy that consideration can be.

Although I don’t carry a lot of keys with me, I has consolidated the extra key and flash drive on my key ring setup.  I plan on adding 2 more keys to the KeySmart. The design in simplistic and functional.  I have a gear geek moment whenever I have a gear that solves an organizing issue and looks sleek and simple.  Great job KeySmart!  You have a winner in my book.
